- Cocoamidopropyl Betaine is used as a co-surfactant to enhance the properties of anionic surfactant particles.
- It also enhances the cleaning and softening efficiency of final products such as shampoos and hand washing liquids. Depending on the water solution, it can have anionic or cationic properties due to containing amphoteric groups. In acidic pH, this substance exhibits good cationic properties and can significantly assist cationic proteins and polymers in specialty shampoos on the hair.
- It can generate high viscosity and sometimes form gels with anionic surfactants. This type of betaines are compatible with all types of surfactants and have good cleansing and foaming properties. By using this product, the use of primary surfactants in formulations can be reduced. Behdaeen is a mild surfactant that can reduce skin irritations caused by other surfactants and provide a pleasant feeling to the skin and hair.
