- LABSA is formed by the sulfonation of Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) with SO3. It is commonly used as the main surface-active agent in the production processes of liquid, gel, or powder detergents today.
- It is a key raw material in the synthetic detergent industry. It is used in laundry, dishwasher powder detergents, detergent gels, liquid soaps, cleaning powders, oily soaps, etc. It is used as a mercerizing and washing agent in the textile sector.
- As a raw material for detergents, it is used in the production of alkylbenzene sulfonic acid sodium for decontamination, emulsification, dispersion performance, wetting, and foaming properties.
